Get Involved: Camps, Workshops and Activities
Kansas OMK welcomes your interest and involvement in support of military youth and families. There’s many ways you can get involved.
If you’re part of a service organization, church or other group you can:
- Provide transportation to doctor’s appointments and sports practices
- Sponsor a military support network in a business or neighborhood
- Organize a work day to get things done around a military family’s home
- Give gift cards for practical items and school supplies
Families and individuals should consider simple things that make a tangible difference:
- Offer to mow a family’s yard or shovel snow from their driveway
- Volunteer with grocery shopping or babysit
- Listen when a military family member needs to talk
